Here is a wonderful, all original Tudor Prince OysterDate from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a shield Tudor logo at 12 o’clock and faceted steel hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends. There is a small scuff at around the 2 o’clock hour marker and a larger scuff at around 8 o’clock. There is also some wear along the rim of the dial such as at around 2 and 8 o’clock. When the crown is pulled out to set the time or date, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely. The baton hands are in fine condition with the original lume intact albeit degraded. At 3 o’clock, the cyclops eye displays the quick-set date. This function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The 14k white gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear. The stainless steel case has a radially brushed face and polished sides and is in excellent condition with barely any marks. The screw down crown with the Rolex logo screws down as it should. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in fine condition with a few marks of wear.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, ETA’s high grade 2784 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This is a great example of Tudor’s very classy and stylish designs, being in line with its more prominent sibling but at a much lower cost. This is a watch that will serve its next owner very well for many years to come will increasing nicely in value.
