Here is a wonderful, all original Tudor Prince Oysterdate from 1990. The golden sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Tudor shield at 12 o’clock and barely any marks. It has golden strip hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. The faceted golden baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition, with the original lume intact. The hack feature stops the watch when the crown is pulled out so the time can be set accurately. The 3 o’clock window with the cyclops eye displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The 18K yellow gold fluted bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear. The stainless steel case has a radially brushed face and polished sides, with the original golden screw-down Rolex crown working as it should. It is in fine condition, with a few marks of wear on both the face and the sides, perhaps most prominent on the upper left lug and on the right case side. The stainless steel case back has the Rolex engraving and Oyster ridges and is in fine condition with a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original two-tone Jubilee bracelet shows some wear on the gold plated links and some stretching. It has a few marks mostly at the end links and the double fold clasp. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of ETA’s high grade 2824 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
