Here is a fabulous, all original Tudor Prince Oysterdate from 1963. The golden sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with the Tudor rose logo and black script lettering. It has golden strip hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends, wider markers at the poles. There is a small mark close to the 6 o’clock hour marker. The golden sword hands are in fine condition with a few marks and degradation to the original lume. At 3 o’clock, the cyclops eye displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The fluted solid 14K yellow gold bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original screw down gold Rolex crown is in fine condition, with a radially brushed face and polished sides. It shows some overall wear mostly at the lugs but also with a few marks on the case sides. The brushed case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in fine condition with some wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of ETA’s high grade 2462 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
