Here is a fabulous, all original Tudor Prince Oysterdate from 1965. The silver sunburst dial is in fine condition, with the rose Tudor logo on the 12 o’clock hour marker and a script logo and black lettering below it. It has steel hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends. There are a few small marks scattered around the dial, perhaps most noticeable just below the dial center. The baton hands with the original lume are in fine condition, with some visible wear. The hack stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out for time setting, to facilitate setting the time accurately. At 3 o’clock, the cyclops eye displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then backwards through 21:00 and then through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The engine turned stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case has a radially brushed face and polished sides and is in fine condition, with a few marks at both the lugs and on the case sides, mostly the right side. The screw-down crown with the Rolex logo screws down as it should. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in fine condition with some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s high grade 2484 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in July 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
