Here is a stunning, all original Tudor Prince Oysterdate from 1989. The golden sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a golden Tudor shield at 12 o’clock and golden bar hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. The faceted golden baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition. The hack feature stops the watch when the crown is pulled out so the time can be set accurately. The 3 o’clock window with the cyclops eye displays the quick-set date, which should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom of the dial.

The 14K yellow gold fluted bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The gold capped case has a radially brushed face and polished sides, with the original golden screw-down crown working as it should. It is in very fine condition, with light overall wear, perhaps most notable around the springbar holes in the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, showing a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of ETA’s high grade 2824 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
