Here is a wonderful, all original Tudor Prince Oysterdate from 1991. The golden sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a golden Tudor shield at 12 o’clock and black Roman numeral hour markers with lume dots inside the minute track. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial and a mark just below the end of the word “Self-winding”. The faceted golden baton hands with the original lume are in fine condition, with the original lume intact but showing some wear. The hack feature stops the watch when the crown is pulled out so the time can be set accurately. The 3 o’clock window with the cyclops eye displays the quick-set date, which should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom of the dial.

The 18K yellow gold fluted bezel is in fine condition, with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent a mark at around 3 o’clock. The stainless steel case has a radially brushed face and polished sides, with the original golden screw-down crown working as it should. It is in fine condition, with some overall wear mostly at the lugs but with some marks also on each side. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, showing some marks throughout. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original two-tone Jubilee bracelet is in fine visual condition, showing some stretching. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of ETA’s high grade 2824 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in January 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
