Here is a fantastic and rare, all original Tudor Prince Date from 1997. The salmon sunburst dial is in mint condition, with a steel Tudor shield logo at 12 o’clock and black lettering. It has Arabic numerals with lume dots at the outer ends at the even hours and wedged steel bar hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends in between. The baton hands with the original lume intact are in very fine condition, with a few marks visible upon close inspection. At 3 o’clock, the Cyclops eye displays the quick-set date. When the crown is pulled out to set the time or date, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely. The quick-set function should only be used with the hands at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original screw down Rolex crown and elegant lugs is in very fine condition, with a radially brushed face and polished sides showing just a few small marks. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in very fine condition with a few marks.

The original steel Jubilee bracelet is in very fine condition, with slight stretching and just a few scratches and marks. These are mostly on the links close to the case and on the double fold clasp. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details fits your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of the ETA 2824 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2023 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
