Here is a fabulous and all original Tudor Prince Date+Day from 1989. The white dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Tudor shield logo and black painted Roman numeral hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends inside the minute track. The faceted baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition. At 3 o’clock, the Cyclops eye displays the quick-set date and the weekday is displayed along the top of the dial in English. When the crown is pulled out to set the time, date or weekday, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely. The original plexiglass crystal is in very fine condition.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most noticeable at around 6, 10 and 12 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original screw down Rolex crown and batman lugs is in fine condition, with a circular brushed face and polished sides. There is some overall wear, most notable at the outside of the upper lugs. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in fine condition with a brushed center that shows a few light scratches.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s refined version of ETA’s high grade 2834-2 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in August 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Prince series is one of the most elegant dress watch series around and this version with the weekday display is the top of the line. This watch looks fabulous on the wrist with its wonderful dial and overall great condition and it will serve you well for many years to come.
