Here is a fabulous, all original Tudor Oyster Prince Date + Day from 1969 in a very large size for the era. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a gold shield Tudor logo and golden bar hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends. There are a few small marks around the dial, most notably just to the left of its center. The marks are barely visible to the naked eye. The golden baton hands have the original lume and are in fine condition with slight wear visible under magnification. The curved aperture at 12 o’clock shows the weekday and the cyclops window at 3 o’clock shows the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 20:20 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The solid 18k gold fluted bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original screw down Rolex crown and bold, curved lugs is in very fine condition, with a brushed face and mirror polished sides. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in very fine condition with a few marks. The case has been refinished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of the AS 1895 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
