Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Technos Sky Diver 300m from 1972 in a large size for the era. The black dial is in excellent condition, with a white Technos logo and lettering and barely any marks. At 12 o’clock is a large lume triangle, at 6 and 9 o’clock large lume stripes and in between large lume dots. The cathedral hands are in very fine condition with the original lume intact. The seconds hand has a lume filled tip. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock shows the quick-set date. This function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The rotatable stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with just a few marks of wear. The stainless case with the original screw-down crown and heavy lugs is in fine condition with light overall wear, most notably along the bevel separating the face and the sides. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition with just a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished. Note that old diver’s watches are no longer suitable for diving!

The watch comes on an after market rubber strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, the ETA 2872 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Sky Diver is perhaps Technos’ best known model, with its bold and rugged design providing reliably high performance. This is a watch that looks great on the wrist and it’s a perfect daily driver.
