Seiko was founded in Tokyo in 1881 and has been a major force in the watch industry ever since, remaining the main counterweight to the Swiss manufacturers. Their foresight and business acumen established them as the main manufacturer of quartz watches in the 1980s but Seiko is so much more! Their most famous mechanical watch models are the Grand Seiko and the King Seiko.
