Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Rolex Oyster Perpetual from 1974 with the original box and papers. The silver sunburst dial has taken on a slight and even patina and is in very fine condition, with a steel Rolex crown at 12 o’clock and wedge steel hour markers with black contrast. There are a few tiny discoloration spots at 3 o’clock at the edge of the dial. These are not visible to the naked eye. The baton hands with the original black contrast are in very fine condition.

The fluted solid 14K white gold bezel is in fine condition, with light wear throughout. The stainless steel case with the original screw down crown is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in excellent condition with barely any marks. The case has been refinished.

The watch comes on a good quality after market leather strap and buckle.

Inside the watch, Rolex’ high grade 1570 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in January 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The lovely, gentle patina on the dial makes this watch feel very vintage while it is also in great condition. This is a watch that will add to any collection and it will make its next owner very happy indeed.
