Here is a fabulous and rare, all original and unpolished sigma dial Rolex Datejust from 1975. The silver sunburst sigma dial (meaning that the dial details and hands are in solid white gold) is in very fine condition, with the white gold Rolex crown at 12 o’clock and barely any marks. It has rounded white gold hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. The faceted white gold baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume intact. The hack stops the watch when the crown is pulled out so the time can be set accurately. The 3 o’clock window with the cyclops eye displays the manually set date.

The engine turned stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, most prominent at around 6 o’clock. The stainless steel case has a radially brushed face and polished sides, with the original screw-down crown working as it should. It is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a few marks of wear and age. The case does not appear to ever have been polished, which is very rare for a Rolex.

The original steel Jubilee bracelet is in fine visual condition and shows some stretching. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Rolex’s high grade 1575 movement – marked 1570 as was common – beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
