Here is a stunning, all original Rolex Datejust from 1997. The silver linen dial is in excellent condition, with the Rolex crown at 12 o’clock and steel hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. The faceted baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition. The hack feature stops the watch when the crown is pulled out so the time can be set accurately. The cyclops eye at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date, which should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case has a radially brushed face and polished sides, with the original screw-down crown working as it should. It is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with barely any few marks. The case has been refinished.

The original steel Oyster bracelet is in very fine condition, showing light stretching and overall wear. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Rolex’s high grade 3135 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
