Here is a stunning, all original Omega dress watch from 1957. The silver crosshair dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo and golden faceted wedged hour markers, double at 12 o’clock. There are a couple of tiny marks along the bottom crosshair line. The golden dauphine hands are in fine condition, with some wear visible under magnification.

The slim case with unusually thick gold plating at 80 microns has the original crown and long, elegant lugs and is in fine condition with only light overall wear, mostly towards the lugs. The gold plated case back has a brushed pattern at its center and a polished slope and is in fine condition with a few marks and small dents. The case does not seem to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original gold plated Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s legendary 284 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Vintage watches do not come much more subtly elegant than this one, with its completely uncluttered dial. The wonderful overall condition and elegant lugs makes this a watch that stands out on your wrist and will elicit a lot of compliments.
