Here is a lovely, all original Omega dress watch from 1958. The two-tone silver dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo and golden diamond shaped hour markers, double markers at 12 o’clock. The dauphine hands are in fine condition, with a few marks of wear visible under close scrutiny.

The gold plated bezel is in very fine condition with just a few marks of wear. The stainless steel case with the original crown and subtle crab lugs is in fine condition, with a few overall marks both at the lugs and the case sides. The gold plated case back is in fine condition, with a brushed center and a polished slope. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The bezel and case has an extraordinarily thick gold plating of 80 microns, which explains why the gold plating has not been worn through.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 501 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
