Here is a fabulous and fully original Omega Speedmaster Classic Automatic from 1995. The silver parchment dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo and black lettering. It has steel strip hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double marker at 12 o’clock. The sword hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume and black contrast. There are a few tiny degradation spots in the lume on both the hour and minute hands. The window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date and weekday. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most prominent a small nick at around 4 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the beautiful bombe lugs that are a characteristic of the Speedmaster series has brushed face and sides with polished bevels. It is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition with a crisp and clean Omega logo at its center surrounded by the wording “Maison fondée en 1848”. It has a few small marks and a more noticeable nick on the left side in the photo. The case has been refinished.

The original bracelet is in very fine condition, with little stretching and only light overall wear. It is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1051 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

While the Speedmaster is an iconic series of chronographs, the Speedmaster Classic is a stylish dress watch with the same case design. This is a watch that wears well for any occasion and it is a perfect daily driver.
