Here is a spectacular, all original Omega Genève Chronostop from 1967. The charcoal dial is in fine condition, with a red Omega logo and white lettering. It has faceted steel hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends, while the 12 o’clock marker is wedge shaped and filled with lume. There are a few marks around the dial, most notable on the left side of the inner dial. Outside the hour markers is the chapter ring with markings per 0.2 second for the stopwatch function. The baton hands have the original lume and black roots and are in fine condition with some overall discoloration to the white paint. The seconds hand is painted orange/red and is in very fine condition.

The stainless steel case with the original crown and pusher and embedded lugs has a sunburst face and brushed sides separate by a polished bevel. It is in excellent condition with only a few marks overall. The brushed stainless steel case back is in excellent condition, with only a few marks of wear. The case has been restored.

The stopwatch function is started, stopped and reset by successive presses on the pusher. It can record time up to 60 seconds. Many users like to keep the seconds hand running to show the seconds as in a regular watch.

The genuine Omega stainless steel bracelet is in very fine visual condition with little stretching and wear. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade caliber 865 beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
