Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Seamaster Chronometer from 1967. The silver sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and faceted steel bar hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, wider markers at the poles. At close inspection a few discoloration spots can be seen around the dial, perhaps most prominent just above the word “Seamaster”. A mark at around 4 o’clock is the main flaw of the dial. The baton hands have the original lume intake and are in fine condition with some visible wear, in particular on the seconds hand.

The stainless steel watch face/bezel continues the sunburst pattern of the dial and is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most notable at around 8 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and straight, elegant lugs and polished sides is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, mostly at the outside of the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a few marks on both the brushed center and the sunburst rim, in particular around the notches in the rim. It bears the inscription “Waterproof”. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 551 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

We don’t see a lot of Chronometer Seamasters, and this one looks great with its slightly more dressy design than most other Seamasters. This is a watch that can be worn for both formal and more casual occasions and it is great as part of a regular rotation schedule.
