Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Seamaster Chronometer from 1969. The silver sunburst dial has taken on a gentle and even patina and is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and faceted steel hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. The dauphine hands with the original black contrast are in good condition with some wear visible upon close inspection. The cyclops eye in the original plexiglass crystal over the steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only very light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original crown and long, curved lugs is in excellent condition with barely any marks. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a well preserved hippocampus logo in its center and barely any marks. The case has been refinished.

The watch comes on an after market leather of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s perhaps best movement ever, the 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in July 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Chronometer versions of the Seamaster are not that common and the fabulously patinated dial and wonderful overall condition of this one makes it a watch you will look forward to putting on your wrist.
