Here is a stunning and rare, all original Omega Seamaster Chronometer from 1967 in an oversized version. The radially brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo and emblem and railroad style steel hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, wider marker at 12 o’clock. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial, none of which are visible to the naked eye but which make the dial seem to sparkle. The baton hands have the original black contrast and lume and are in very fine condition. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The wide solid 14k yellow gold bezel has a subtle sunburst pattern and is in fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most notable at around 2 and 4 o’clock. The gold capped case with the original crown and heavy lugs is in very fine condition, with a polished face and brushed sides, showing a few overall marks of wear. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved hippocampus logo and a few small marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, perhaps the best watch movement ever made, Omega’s caliber 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
