Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Seamaster 600 from 1966. The brushed silver crosshair dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and faceted steel bar hour markers with black onyx inlay, double at 12 o’clock. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion bubbles around the dial, none of which are really visible to the naked eye. The baton hands are in fine condition, with the original black contrast intact and some corrosion, mostly on the seconds hand.

The stainless steel case with the original crown and subtle batman lugs is in fine condition with some visible wear, mostly at the lugs and in particular the upper left and bottom right ones. The radially brushed stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a well preserved hippocampus medallion and some wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s wonderful 601 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Seamaster 600 was named for its 600-series movement, being manual wind rather than automatic as most others. The timeless design and wonderful overall condition makes this a very versatile watch to wear and own.
