Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Seamaster 120 from 1968 in a large size for the era. The black dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo and white lettering. At 12 o’clock is a large wedge shaped lumed hour marker. At the other poles are steel bar hour markers with lume stripes, and between are lume strip hour markers. The baton hands have the original lume and are in very fine condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly turning the hands through midnight, then backwards through 20:30 and then through midnight again.

The freely rotatable bezel with an easy grip ridged edge and minute markings in white is in very fine condition with just a few marks. The stainless steel C shaped case with the original crown is in fine condition, with some overall wear, most notable at the sides. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved hippocampus engraving and light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original stainless steel bead of rice bracelet is in very fine visual condition with only light stretching and overall wear. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade caliber 613 beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This is one of the nicest Seamaster 120 we’ve ever seen, and it will add nicely to any vintage collection. It is a watch that can be worn for both formal and more casual occasions and it is also a good investment.
