Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1966. The silver sunburst dial has taken on a gentle and even patina and is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has faceted steel bar hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at 12 o’clock. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion marks scattered around the dial, not really visible to the naked eye. The dauphine hands are in fine condition with the original lume intact. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock diplays the date, which can be semi-quick set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notable a couple of nicks at around 1 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the characteristic dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear mostly at the lugs and in particular the bottom lugs, but also with a few marks on each case side. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with some overall wear.

The original bead of rice bracelet is in fine visual condition with some stretching and some overall wear, in particular at the double fold clasp. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
