Here is a fabulous, fully original Omega Pie Pan Constellation Chronometer from 1961. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. At close inspection a few marks can be seen around the Omega logo and there are a few tiny corrosion spots around the dial. At the poles it has golden arrow tail hour markers and in between are faceted golden bar hour markers, all with lume dots at the outer ends. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume intact.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most notable a small nick at around  10 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition with a few marks, mostly at the lugs but also with a few marks on the case sides. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a slightly worn gold Geneva observatory medallion and some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 551 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Pie Pan Constellations are in themselves highly sought after and this golden version is a real find. This watch looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
