Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Pie Pan Constellation Chronometer from 1969. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial has a golden Omega logo and emblem and is in very fine condition apart from a slightly discolored area between the 7 and 8 o’clock hour markers. The dial has golden bar hour markers with black contrast, double markers at 12 o’clock. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition, with the original black contrast intact. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most notable at around  11 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition with a few marks, perhaps most notable at the tips of the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition with a crisp and clean gold Geneva observatory medallion and a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Pie Pan Constellations are in themselves highly sought after and this golden version is a real find. This watch looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
