Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation Pie Pan Chronometer from 1972. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has faceted steel bar hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. There is a small mark to the left of the dial center and a small mark on the 11 o’clock hour marker. The dauphine hands with the original black contrast are in fine condition with a few wear marks visible upon close scrutiny. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with a few marks of wear throughout. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the characteristic dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, most notably at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved Geneva observatory medallion and some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original Omega bead of rice bracelet is in fine condition, with some stretching and light overall wear, most pronounced on the double fold clasp. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
