Here is a fabulous and very rare, all original Omega Pie Pan Constellation Chronometer from 1964 in a large size for the era. The crosshair silver sunburst Pie Pan dial has a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star and is in very fine condition with barely any marks. It has golden bar hour markers with black onyx inlay, twin markers at 12 o’clock. The golden dauphine hands are in fine condition with a few marks and the original black contrast intact. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 20:30 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The wide, solid 14K rose gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, such as at around 2, 7 and 9 o’clock. The rose gold capped case with the original partially embedded crown and slightly spread lugs is in fine condition with a few marks mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a slightly worn gold Geneva observatory medallion and a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 561 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Pie Pan Constellations are in themselves highly sought after and this rose gold version is very rare. This is a watch that looks great on the wrist and it goes well with both formal and informal wear.
