Here is a stunning, all original Omega dress watch from 1951 in a huge size for the era. The silver guilloche honeycomb dial with a golden Omega logo in in excellent condition, with golden chevron markers, double at 12 o’clock. The golden dauphine hands and are in fine condition with light wear.

The rose gold plated case with the original crown and crab lugs is in fine condition, with some overall wear both on the face and the sides, perhaps most prominently at the outside of the lugs. The rise gold plated case back is in fine condition with a few scratches and marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s wonderful 332 bumper automatic movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +15 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

If someone were to describe what they associate with a “vintage watch”, this might be it. Not only do the dial and case make for a fabulous look, any vintage collector should have a bumper automatic! The feeling on the wrist when the oscillating weight hits the buffer springs inside the watch is just something else.
