Here is a beautiful, all original Omega Genéve from 1969. The blue sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and faceted steel hour markers with white contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at the poles. The lume dots have largely degraded, affecting the area directly around them and exposing the underlying base color. The white contrast on the 4 and 9 o’clock hour markers show some damage upon close scrutiny. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume intact but degraded. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel case with the original crown and straight lugs has a sunburst face and polished sides. It is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent at the outside of the right side lugs but also with some marks on the sides. The brushed stainless steel case back is in fine condition with some marks mostly around the notches in the rim from attempts at opening the case without the proper tools or skills. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s wonderful 613 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This is a wonderful watch with its timeless simplicity and very fine condition. It is a perfect watch to wear as a daily driver or as part of a regular rotation schedule.
