Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Genéve Seamaster from 1968. The silver sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and faceted steel hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. The hour markers show some wear on the black contrast and there are a few marks of wear at the edge of the dial at around 10 to 2 o’clock. None of these marks are really visible to the naked eye. The baton hands are in fine condition, with the original black contrast intact. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel case with the original crown and subtle spider lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly towards the lugs but also on the case sides. The radially brushed stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean hippocampus medallion at its center and is in fine condition with some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s wonderful 613 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
