Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Genève Seamaster “Speedmaster Companion” from 1968. The crosshair charcoal sunburst dial is a vintage lover’s dream with a mottled pattern of wear. It is in fine condition, with a white script Omega logo and lume stripe hour markers, two extra dot markers at 12 o’clock. The baton hands have the original lume intact albeit degraded and are in fine condition.

The stainless steel bezel is in good condition with some overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 5, 9 and 11 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and straight lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly towards the lugs and in particular the upper right lug. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean hippocampus medallion at its center and is in fine condition with some notable marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 552 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The “Speedmaster Companion” got its name from the dial design, very similar in style to the Speedmaster. This is a very versatile watch, going well with most occasions and it’s a perfect daily driver.
