Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Genève from 1975. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a black script Omega logo and emblem and a gentle and even patina. It has steel strip hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at 12 o’clock. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original black contrast and lume intact. The seconds hand is painted black. The black framed window at 3 o’clock displays the weekday and date. The weekday can be quick-set by turning the hands backwards after the weekday changes at the midnight position and the date is quick-set with the crown pulled out to the middle position. Setting the date should always be done with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel watch case with straight, elegant lugs and the original crown is in fine condition with some overall wear. On the face there are some marks on the lugs, in particular the bottom lugs. There is also a mark on the left case side and on the outside of the lugs. The brushed stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a central Omega engraving and a few marks.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1022 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
