Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Genève from 1973 in a rare reference. The brushed silver dial is in excellent condition, with a black Omega logo and black script. It has black Arabic numeral hour markers and a black minute track. There are a few tiny spots around the dial which are not visible to the naked eye. The black leaf hands are in very fine condition. The black framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial. The hack feature stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled to set the hands, allowing more accurate time setting.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear. The brushed stainless steel case with the original crown and integrated lugs is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The brushed stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a few marks of wear and age. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The integrated stainless steel bracelet is in fine condition with light overall wear and little stretching. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1012 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
