Here is a fabulous, all original Omega De Ville Prestige chronograph from 1999. The black dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo and barely any marks. It has arched steel bar hour markers and three sunk subdials with circular brushing. The 3 o’clock subdial shows the chronograph minute counter, the 6 o’clock subdial shows the chronograph hour counter and the 9 o’clock subdial shows the running seconds. Around the edge of the dial is a painted minute track with 5 separations per second. The faceted dauphine hands are in very fine condition.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, most notable at around 4 and 7 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and pushers and heavy, curved lugs is in fine condition, with some overall wear mostly at the lugs and in particular the top lugs. The brushed stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a brushed center and a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original bracelet is in very fine condition, with little stretching and only light overall wear. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult.

Inside the watch, the same movement found in the Moonwatch, Omega’s legendary caliber 861, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The De Ville Prestige is probably Omega’s least known chronograph, it does not even say De Ville nor Prestige on the dial. That makes is a wonderfully subtle watch for those who love elegant design and leading edge mechanics.
