Here is a wonderful and rare, all original Omega De Ville from 1970. The blue dial is in fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and white lettering. It has steel hour markers with white contrast, double marker at 12 o’clock. There is some wear around some of the hour markers, most prominently at 7 and 11 o’clock and there is a bit of wear along the edge of the dial such as at around 9 and11 o’clock. The baton hands are in fine condition, the hour and minute hands painted white. The hack feature stops the seconds hand when setting the time. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock shows the quick-set date, which should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The unusually shaped rectangular stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs has a horizontally brushed face and brushed sides with a polished bevel separating them. It is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced a nick on the left case side. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a brushed finish and just a few small marks of wear and age. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market bovine leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1002 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
