Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1962. The silver sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. At the poles are beautiful golden arrow tail hour markers, with faceted golden bar hour markers in between, all with lume dots at the outer ends. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial some discoloration in the chapter ring on the right side and at around the 9 o’clock hour marker is a star shaped scuff. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition with the original lume intact albeit degraded.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent a scuff at around 11 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition, with some overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a slightly worn gold Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with a couple of notable marks around the rim. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original gold plated bead of rice bracelet is in good visual condition with some overall wear both on the individual links and the double fold clasp, as well as some stretching. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s legendary 551 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
