Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation from 1968. The brushed silver dial is in fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem, and Constellation star. It has wedge shaped hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends. There is slight wear towards the edge of the dial at around 11 o’clock and some wear on the black contrast on some of the hour markers, in particular at 6 o’clock. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume and black contrast intact. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. Setting the date should always be done with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel has a subtle sunburst pattern and is in fine condition, with light overall wear, such as at around 5 and 12 o’clock. The stainless steel case with slightly spread lugs and the original crown is in fine condition with some overall wear both at the case sides and the lugs, in particular on the outside of the upper right lug. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean steel Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original Omega bead of rice bracelet is in fine visual condition, with a few marks on both the end links and some individual links as well as on the clasp. It also shows some stretching. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s perhaps best movement ever, the 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
