Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star and barely any marks. It has steel wedged hour markers with black contrast. The dauphine hands have the original black contrast intact and are in fine condition with a few marks of wear visible upon close scrutiny. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with only light overall wear apart from a more noticeable partial crack at around 11 o’clock. The slim stainless steel case with the original crown on a C shaped case is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear. It has radial brushing on the face and brushed sides, separated by a polished bevel. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with some overall wear, most notably a set of scratches probably stemming from futile attempts at opening the non-opening case back. It has a crisp and clean Geneva observatory medallion in a radially patterned center, showing only a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original stainless steel bracelet is in fine visual condition with little stretching, showing just a few marks mostly on the fold clasp. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult.

Inside the watch, perhaps the best watch movement ever made, Omega’s caliber 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
