Here is an absolutely jaw dropping and very rare, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1959. The dial is in very fine condition, with a brushed silver inner dial, a darker rail track and a radially brushed chapter ring. At the poles are beautiful golden arrow tail style hour markers with golden bar hour markers in between. There is a small discolored spot towards the 10 o clock hour marker. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition.
The solid 14K yellow gold bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, most notable a scratch at around 5-6 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and long, lovely gold capped drop shaped lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notable at the tips of the upper lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean gold Geneva observatory medallion and only light wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The watch comes on an after market leather of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 551 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
Constellations are great watches in their own right, and the fantastic and unusual dial on this one combined with the great overall condition makes it a true joy to own and wear. This is a watch that will put a smile on your face every time you put it on.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
