Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in minty condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star and barely any marks. It has wedge shaped steel hour markers with black contrast. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume and black contrast intact. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the weekday in English and the date. The date can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. Quick-setting the date should only be done with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel has a subtle sunburst pattern and is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original crown and slightly spread lugs is in fine condition, with polished facets and brushed sides. It shows light overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved Geneva observatory medallion and some scratches and marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original Omega bead of rice bracelet is in fine visual condition and shows some stretching as is common with old bracelets. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade caliber 751, beats strongly and accurately to within about +8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This watch is a very stylish and timeless take on the Constellation series and it works well as a daily driver while also being a nice investment that will only grow in value over the next decades.
