Here is a wonderful, fully original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1961 in a rare Jumbo size. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has faceted golden bar hour markers, double markers at 12 o’clock. There are a couple of tiny marks around the center of the dial and also around the edge of the dial. The golden dauphine hands are in fine condition with a few small marks. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly turning the hands through midnight, then backwards through 20:30 and then through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear such as at around 2 and 9 o’clock. The gold capped case with the original crown and lovely drop shaped lugs is in fine condition with a few notable marks both at the lugs and on the case sides. The lugs show some at the tips and also on the outside and there are some marks on both case sides, in particular the right side below the crown. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a slightly worn gold Geneva observatory medallion at its center and some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market  leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 561 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Constellations are great watches in their own right, and the wonderful dial on this one combined with the large size makes it a true joy to own and wear. This is a watch that will put a small on your face.
