Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation C shape from 1966. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star and just a few tiny spots. It has steel strip hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. The black fils hour name minute hands are in very fine condition, while the seconds hand shows some corrosion. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi-quick set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel continues the sunburst pattern of the dial and is in very fine condition with just a few minor marks. The C shape stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in excellent condition, with a radial pattern on the face and brushed sides with a polished bevel separating them. The stainless steel case back is in excellent condition, with a well preserved steel Geneva observatory medallion and just a few small marks. The case has been refinished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, perhaps the best movement ever made, Omega’s 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
