Description

Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation C shape from 1967. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has steel bar hour markers with central lume, twin markers at 12 o’clock. There are a few tiny marks around the dial and slight wear along the rim of the dial at about 6-9 o’clock. The dauphine hands have the original lume intact albeit degraded and are in fine condition. The cyclops window at 3 o’clock in the original plexiglass crystal displays the date, which can be semi-quick set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. This should only be done with the hour hand at the lower half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel has a subtle sunburst pattern and is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The C shape stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in fine condition, with a radial pattern on the face and brushed sides with a polished bevel separating them. It shows some overall wear such as at around 4 and 10 o’clock at the face and on both sides. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved steel Geneva observatory medallion, showing some overall wear.

The original stainless steel brick wall bracelet is in fine condition, with some stretching and overall wear most notable on the double fold clasp. It is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, perhaps the best movement ever made, Omega’s 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Constellations are perhaps our very favorite series, with a very classic and timeless design. The C shape design adds a different dimension to the series, and the wonderful dial and overall great condition of this watch makes it easy to love.

Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.

NB! Note that we are based in Switzerland and that the buyer is responsible for any import fees their country may impose on a purchase from abroad. Ask us if you have any questions.
