Here is a stunning, all original Omega Constellation “C shape” from 1968. The silver linen dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star and barely any marks. It has steel bar hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, twin markers at 12 o’clock. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume and black contrast intact. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the weekday in English and the date, of which the date can be quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. Using this function should only be done with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The 18K white gold bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in fine condition, with a brushed face and sides and polished bevels. It shows light overall wear, both on the face towards the lugs but also with some marks along the polished bevels separating the face and sides. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved steel Geneva observatory medallion at the center, with some wear to the case around it. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original Omega stainless steel brick wall bracelet is in very fine condition, with some overall wear and slight stretching. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 751 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The C shape Constellation was famously created by Gerald Genta, and the series is another example of the timelessness of Omega’s designs. It has a dressier look that still looks fresh and very classy on the wrist today. This is a watch that goes well for all occasions while also being a great investment.
