Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Constellation from 1973 in a slim version. The guilloche silver dial is in very fine condition, with black script lettering and steel strip hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. There are a couple of small marks at the edge of the dial such as at around 1, 2 and 5 o’clock, none of which are visible to the naked eye. The black stick hands are in very fine condition. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand, in order to keep the profile slim.

The rectangular stainless steel watch case is in excellent condition, with a radially brushed face and brushed sides separated by a polished bevel. The stainless steel case back with a brushed finish and the Constellation medallion is in excellent condition, with barely any marks of wear. The case has been refinished.

The original stainless steel bracelet is in very fine condition with a few marks on the links closest to the bottom of the case and the claps. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s slimmest automatic movement ever, the high grade caliber 711, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in January 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This very cool watch is clearly a 70s design, with the rather unusual shape for a Constellation. It is a great daily driver and a fun watch for any vintage collection.
