Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Constellation from 1973 in a slim version. The guilloche silver dial is in very fine condition, with black script lettering and steel strip hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. There are a couple of small marks at the edge of the dial at around 7-8 o’clock. The black stick hands are in fine condition with some wear visible at the base of the hands under magnification. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand, in order to keep the profile slim.
The rectangular stainless steel watch case has a radially brushed face and brushed sides separated by a polished bevel. It is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced a few marks on the outside of the upper right lug. The stainless steel case back with a brushed finish and the Constellation medallion is in very fine condition, with just a few marks of wear, perhaps most notable a small mark at its very center. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The watch comes on an after market stainless steel bracelet of good quality. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.
Inside the watch, Omega’s slimmest automatic movement ever, the high grade caliber 711, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
This very cool watch is clearly a 70s design, with the rather unusual shape for a Constellation. It is a great daily driver and a fun watch for any vintage collection.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
