Here is a wonderful and rare, all original Omega Constellation from 1972 in a slim version. The blue dial is in good condition, with a white Omega logo and lettering and white Roman numeral hour markers. There is some wear along the edge of the dial where the underlying base paint shows through, most notable on the left side of the dial but also at the top and on the right side. There are also a few small marks around the dial. The white stick hands are in very fine condition. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand, in order to keep the profile slim.

The slim stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, most notably a scuff at around 12 o’clock. The rectangular stainless steel watch case has a radially brushed face and brushed sides separated by a polished bevel. It is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most pronounced a couple of marks at around 12 o’clock and on the outside of the bottom right lug. The stainless steel case back with a brushed finish and the Constellation medallion is in very fine condition, with just a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle.

Inside the watch, Omega’s slimmest automatic movement ever, the high grade caliber 711, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This very cool watch is clearly a 70s design, with the rather unusual shape for a Constellation. It is a great daily driver and a fun watch for any vintage collection.
