Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Constellation from 1973 in a slim version. The ribbed silver dial is in very fine condition, with black script lettering and steel strip hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. Under magnification, a few marks can be seen at the edge of the dial such as at around 1 and 10 o’clock. The black stick hands are in fine condition with some wear at the base of the hands. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand, in order to keep the profile slim.

The faceted tonneau stainless steel watch case has a polished face and brushed sides separated by a polished bevel. It is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced a few marks on face of the watch at around 3 and 6 o’clock. The stainless steel case back with a brushed finish and the Constellation medallion is in very fine condition, with just a few marks of wear. The case has been refinished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in find condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s slimmest automatic movement ever, the high grade caliber 711, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in January 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This very cool watch is clearly a 70s design, with the rather unusual shape for a Constellation. It is a great daily driver and a fun watch for any vintage collection.
