Here is a wonderful and rare, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1969. The brushed sliver dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem and barely any marks. It has chunky steel hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original black contrast intact. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The brushed stainless steel tonneau case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear. At the face are a couple of nicks at around 7 and 10 o’clock, and a scuff along the crystal at around 3 o’clock as well as some scratches and marks along the top of the case. The brushed stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean Geneva observatory medallion at the center and is in very fine condition with light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original stainless steel bracelet is in fine visual condition with some stretching. It is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade caliber 1001 beats strongly and accurately to within about +8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
